This guide is intended to give you guidance in your research for History 117, which covers the period between the ascendancy of feudalism and the Napoleonic Wars. While the SFCC Library does not have an extensive research collection, we do have many and varied resources to help you research for assignments in this class. These resources include books, reference works, article databases and web resources. Most importantly, we have librarians who can help you with your research process.
Remember to keep track of the resources you consult as you go through this process. This will make it easier, when it is time to compose your essay, to cite your sources properly and provide an accurate list of references.
