Spokane Public Library Audible Resoures

All CCS Students, Staff, and Faculty now have FULL ACCESS to the Spokane Public Library.

Download free materials in a variety of formats including:

OverDrive eBooks,
Kanopy Movies,
RBDigital Audiobooks, and more!

How to Get Your Spokane Public Library Card

  1. Go to SpokaneLibrary.org/login

  2. Click the CCS Logo under "Sign in using your partner account here"

  3. Login with your CCS | SCC | SFCC | Bigfoot email and password. (ex: JaneD1234@bigfoot.spokane.edu, password: student ID #)

  4. First Time Users need to set up Spokane Public Library account. Fill out the user form and create a PIN.

  5. Your library card number will be automatically generated. Don't forget to write it down! Use your card number to check out materials and access SPL's digital resources.

If you have problems setting up your new Spokane Public Library card, please call the Spokane Public Library IT Department at 509-444-5449 for assistance.

Creating a New Hoopla Account

Hoopla provides access to streaming shows, eBooks, and audiobooks. Please note that the Spokane Public Library has a limit on how many items can be checked out of Hoopla per day. So try and checkout your items early in the day. You may not be able to checkout items in the evening and will have to wait until the next day for the item count to reset.

  1. If you don't already have a Spokane Public Library Card use the instructions above to create a card number and then go to step 2. 
  2. Go to spokanelibrary.org
  3. Click on “Digital Branch” drop down menu
  4. Click on “eBooks and Downloads”
  5. Click on “Overdrive/Libby” link
  6. Click on “Get Started Today” (little blue box)
  7. Fill out information form (email and password you create) - REMEMBER THIS
  8. Click “Agree”
  9. Search for library - Choose “Spokane Public Library”
  10. Enter library card number and PIN number
  11. Click “Sign me up”
  12. You are now in. You can search by title, author or subject. You will login with the email and password you created for future logins.

Creating a New Libby Account

Libby provides access to eBooks and audiobooks. 

  1. Create a Spokane Public Library Card by following the instructions on this web page, under the box, "How to Make a Free Spokane Public Library Card."
  2. Once you've created a SPL card numbeyou have to download the Libby app on your phone, tablet, or other device.
  3. You will need the SPL card number you just created and your personal email address to create a Libby account. Once you've created a SPL card number and Libby account you can access ebooks and audiobooks through the app.
